sorry slug looked good don't know why they don't give the game away free it has to be out of patent ware such as even if old players cud give their cd keys u may get new players. I have two keys but gave one to china and madman has used both my keys at lan party's so do not know how many have my keys.

Nice to see you on CH Players Degem. That link you posted eventually leads you to a download for the old SOFII multiplayer TEST version of the game that plays Shop map only. I think there is a download on here for it somewhere also. The last time I tried it would crash at startup and as there is no config file I gave up trying to get it working. Shame they can't make the whole game available for free download now. In games terms 10 years is ancient and like old music should go out of Copyright expires at some point.

Sorry I missed the games on CH tonight it would have been nice to see you again Degem. Trouble was I installed Mass Effect 3, started playing it and got totally absorbed by the game. The only downer to it is that it's 3rd person. Apart from that, great graphics good gameplay and a good but too familiar story line.

Long time no play 18 months in fact last night got a lot of lag so changed snaps to 35 and rate to 15000. Thing is cud not remember wat ive set the f keys to so had to go look at cfg file to remember.

tks slizer. Ive got a 22inch led monitor and a nvidia video card had a nightmare when installed new drivers because sof2 would not play full screen. Have just found the fix. Right click desktop and open nvidia control panel, click on desktop and click scaling button.

wat made me play sof2 was I played sof1 and managed to obtain the beta version of sof2 the difference was fantastic. Only game ive bought first time no arguement. With practice managed to become admin for dm and tdm on bygames.

There are lots of players under my age. thing is some cheat and don't admit it but thing is most players are good and if u play against a good player u know the difference. There again if u walk up behind someone with the shotgun and shoot him in the head and he turns round and kills u with the pistol, U sort of reckon something is wrong

1.00 inf is still active if you are a player looking for some real competition, we are hosting cups once in a while on demobase.eu and there are just enough clans to keep the game alive for a few more years i guess :P and there is FairPlay anti-cheat, much better than PunkBuster for gold which i believe they've stopped updating?

You are strugling for player on sof2. Have an idea how many players do u know that have left. Why not ask them for their old numbers so that the game can go on.

yeah indeed, thanks for your kind comments about the movie, my love for sof2 will always be there, if you need players for a deathmatch tournament just mail me or smth and i'll be there =D i actually host dm tournaments myself at the demobase community where most cups are hosted for the demo version and 1.00 version. Thanks Slizer. That's a great movie I like the pictures of players and their flags, gives it a great community feel that I thought had almost gone. Terrific work on the soundtrack by the way, the soundtrack is a great achievement on its own. SOF2 10 years old and life in the old dog yet. 10th birthday DM competition maybe :) :)

Always a pleasure playing sof II when the old crew are about. Some ctf would be magic...if yi's are gonna play some give me a shout and ill try n join you guys. .....Slug....i love the minutes from your residents association....got me gripped waiting on every months but i do still wonder what Landrover put in for a prize last year (not a landrover) and no luck with the colour of the radiators m8 :(.....id have voted against dark green too.
