good to see you frank spencer long time no see. wat binds do you need v1 can also be turned into v2 by just downloading the upgrade and then turned back to v1 by using the downloads here giving you both

I take it with me on business trips for skype. Works fine in games offering no kill disadvantages ;)

Headset broke last night so I'm only hearing sounds from the left in both ears. Big prob is the right earpiece is now louder than the left so I turn to the right to shoot someone who is really on my left. New headset ordered tonight :)

I chanced upon a comment on Wonky Donkeys ( Alex) facebook page about there being no servers running, I had a look and hey presto V1 here i am, have V2 as well but will never be able to replace them as I threw away disc !!! bumped into 50 can't even get me text binds right !! LOL

Hello all, hope all is well. Some may remember me from some of the DM competitions back in the day, I've had a break for a few years and recently started playing the gold version again. I have a fresh install of the game and am having trouble updating my punkbuster. I've tried the pbsetup tool but sof2 is no longer listed inside to update? I've had a good search on google but no luck. If you could help me update that would be fantastic! Best regards, TurboPulse.

Malone if you use a program called Qtracker or HLSW you can find a list of all the Gameservers running SOF2.

It seems I made a mistake about when the CH server was being upgraded and it happened during the night :D The server is now up and running on the faster server with the new IP address 85.17.88.235:20180

Good info Lemonadesoda. nVidia card users had this issue a few years ago but limiting the opengl extensions sorted it out. It was an easy tweak and meant that SOF2 players could use the latest driver. Since that the fix has been applied by nVidia themselves.

I just upgraded by GPU to FirePro v3750. Installed drivers. No SOF2. Wot?! Many of you may know this already, but I add the comment for others like me who didn't: Some recent OpenGL drivers are not compatible with SOF2 and crash to desktop even before menu screen comes up. Solution? Download an older driver set. Extract (MS cmd prompt EXPAND) the file atioglxx.dl_ to atioglxx.dll and drop into your main SOF2 directory. BINGO. You have your new drivers for regular use, but the old ATIOpenGL driver for SOF2. (*** do not load .dll files from websites you don't trust... they can contain all kinds of viruses, malware, ads and keyloggers. Use the EXPAND technique on an official driver set ***)

I received an e-mail from 2K3 Servers this morning to inform me that the CH server will be upgraded next Thursday 21st. March to a much faster server.... The downside to this is that the server IP will change to 85.17.88.235:20180 ......
