I had a Kia Rio as a hire car when I visited the Duxford Air Museum, I thought it was a great car and it was very easy on the petrol, plenty of room in it too.... Health to enjoy M8.... :)Just watched "Hunger Games" not a bad movie....

I had a reply from Max at 2K3 today and he informs me the sniper/thermals problem is now fixed........ :D I tested it and it is indeed working OK now...... Thanks Max.

I turned off data roaming when I went on holiday and have not turned it back on. Since then the battery lasts 3-4 days so Its working great Degem. I'm on the 5 pound per month tariff with gifgaf so pleased all around with the unlock and new root.

I also think having scope with crosshair is a cheat and therefore turning off goggles is a good compromise.

Maybe so Degem but this turns it off all together when you use the scope.... that didn't happen in the old mod it stayed on even when using the scope.

The reason they switch off is that in theory u can't see the crosshair through thermal goggles

Good games on the server tonight....*** For the information of anyone who uses Sniper rifle and thermal goggles*** When you use the scope the thermal goggles turn off for some reason.... I have e-mailed Max at 2K3 to see what is wrong.

Yes it's North Island Degem. My eldest son has lived near Auckland for the last 4 years. Went to South Island a few years back and it's a spectacular place but the climate is a lot cooler than North Island.

yeah did mean of the day. Solved problem of turning old router into a switch. You enter old router and turn of dhcp the just plug the superhug into a lan slot not the wlan slot as i did. Now working perfectly as a switch.

Hi Lemonade Soda if you click on "link" it is the download of the Gold mappack... once downloaded extract it to your base map in the SOF2 folder... or go to the Downloads page and it is near the bottom of the page.

Could someone kindly link to a copy of mp_jor1.pk3. It's not in my 1.00 nor my gold mp.pk3 maps. I might at some point have screwed up by copying 1.00 maps into the gold directory and therefore lost the original gold. And the CD? Oh... somewhere in the attic 10 years ago! I googled, and found plenty of megaupload dead links!

I was 12 yrs old when they landed on the moon we thought it was great getting to stay up late to watch it on the Black and White TV...They say that the average electronic wristwatch today has more computing power than the computers used at the time of going to the moon.... :)

Nice idea Degem. I was on holiday in Cornwall with my mum and Dad. Still have the newspaper of the day up in the loft. Those guys must have had great faith in the technology. I wonder what they thought of the chances of getting back home again? Then again you would think the same if you were setting of for Vietnam I suppose. Hey Degem, whats this 'Topic of the Month' - surely you mean 'Topic of the Day' :)

ok here is topic of the month. lol this is a hard one for u young guys. Neil Armstong died this week. Where were you when he landed on the moon, or where did you first find out about this. I was on the Island of Unst in the Shetland Islands and had to watch it in black and white.
