Ah just found out the maps work if called in a mapcycle even when not showing in the list of maps. Can you add Kam 5 (mp_kam5) Mike?

The CH Players v1.00 CH server has all the v1.03 Gold maps in addition to the regular v1.00 maps but a number of them do not appear in the list of maps that can be called upon by vote. It has something to do with the RPM Pro mod that's used on the server because if I run a server from my PC using the same map pack but without RPM Pro I have all the maps. I wonder if its something to do with the single player maps that are available with RPM Pro? Some of them use the same header Kam 5 for example. I wonder if there is a way around it as I really miss some of the Gold maps (Kam 5 is a good example)?

But there again they did issue sof1 free but think that may have been Carmack who actually designed the games. He was sacked after he released Doom 3 code for open use.

Thing is bully id look at this game as being a failure. Even though all who play think it is fantastic. So what we have to do is offer a browser game that lets us play but allows advertisement.

Hey Guys and Girls, just to let you know I am running a facebook group to promote SoF2's 10th year, and prompt Raven / Activision to release SoF2 as a free downloadable game (to attract more players).... Show your support by joining the group and voting, we may just be able to make this happen, alot of Raven and Activision staff the original creators of sof2 are already in the group.

50 m8 i never install or unistall sof2 it removes all the mods that take hours to reinstall. Instead i keep three different copies on disc and two other computers and all i do is put full folder in new operating system and it works

Yes I forgot about that Slug. However that problem only existed for a couple of driver releases then nVidia fixed it, it all depends what driver version Erwan is using, so yes a good suggestion Slug :) Erwan the latest driver compatible with your graphics card is 296.10 available from the nVidia site. After opening the page you'll need to enter the details of the dropboxes to reflect the video card and OS you are using.

Erwan from the Help page........"DooGie "I had the same problem Slug. If you are using an nVidia graphics card try the following. Open up the nvidia control panel and go to where it shows game profiles. Select the Soldier of Fortune profile and look for a line that says Extension limit. If it's set to Off change it to On. The problem is caused by the new open gl having more extensions than SOF2 can handle." This worked for me

Hi Erwan unless anyone else has a better idea, I would suggest that you completely uninstall SOF2 and also delete the folder at (default location)C:Program Files/Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix . Then check for driver updates for your Graphics Card and re-install the game..... I hope this fixes your problem.

Erwan you say you click on a server do you have a list of servers on the screen? Also try and copy down what the error says....

hi bellies!!! i' ve a nvidia geforce 8400! and when i begin the game and i click to the serveur the game bug and shut down. i think it's bcz before i was on sof2 and i uninstal it and i install it 2 years after.

issue is Doogie MP is linked to SP why you ahve the Galaxy at war consloe in SP and on the start screen need to do both to increase ya chance fo beating teh reapers :)

On gold version there is only two servers i like to play the main one is brp and the other used to be ozzies. But when ozzie kicks u for beating him that sort of wears off.

An excellent review of Mass Effect 3 here :) As an aside any copy of SOF2 you buy now is iffy if you play PB enabled servers. Yes I know Evenbalance don't support the game any more but Gold server admins use banlists so your gui may well be banned. 2nd hand the same, however all will be fine for v1.
