DooGie (aka -=Garbage DinGo=-)
Just ordered myself a Sandisk 480GB SSD. I'm expecting fun and games doing a clean install of Windows 10 on it. Just hope it activates without any problems.

Thanks for clarifying that Slug, I understand now. Regarding builds of Windows 10, I've had 3 or 4 since the RTM build and all but the latest one have been better than the RTM which is build 10240. Still there's a new Insider version due out any day now so I'll give that a go. Like I said a glutton for punishment but I enjoy it :)

Hi DooGie. I realised my post was vague as soon as I posted it and should have edited. The link to the forum turned up another driver version that I am not sure if I tried. I tryed quite a few. It was that driver I was referring to. The Windows 10 version was the latest done by 'upgrade to windows 10' NOT a clean install. Currently quite happy with Windows 8.1 after doing the restore. Thanks though DooGie. I know you look at these things as challenges but to me they are just a pain in the ass :)

Slug when you say "That version", do you mean that version of Windows 10? If so it wouldn't help your problem. Windows 10 build 10547 is only available to peeps on the Windows Insider fast ring. I've been using these preview builds since January and don't think you'd like some of them. They are basically unfinished builds complete with bugs so users can help Microsoft get the probs ironed out. A new build is due out next week, still you know me, a glutton for punishment LOL.

That last link looks promising DooGie and I have not seen or tried that version but I will stick with 8.1 unless it starts giving me major problems. As you would say 'sack it' LOL

Have you tried posting on the Intel graphics forum Slug?

OK Slug sorry the driver didnt fix it ...... Look forward to seeing you sometime on the server..... :D

Thanks Mike and DooGie. I tried that driver Mike and it did not solve the problem. This PC (Aspire XC 603) is a small format case and I don't think its possible to add a graphics card. I have just restored back to Windows 8.1 and will not be doing the upgrade to 10 on this PC in the future so can look forward to playing SOF2 again.

DooGie (aka -=Garbage DinGo=-)
Slug if you have a slot on your motherboard for a graphics card then I reckon you should use it. The onboard graphics can then be disabled in the BIOS. However I'd first try 50's link first.

Don't know if these will do for you Slug but it says they are Open GL 4 compatible..... Another option would be to add a graphics card to the PC, either an ATI or Nvidia card.

Slug
Have reinstalled Windows 10 on my PC in the hope that compatible graphics drivers for Intel HD graphics are now available. Sadly they are not and there is no support for openGl. Cannot play SOF2 now. If anyone knows of a fix please let me know. The problem is with Intel HD graphics. There is no option to change the graphics - built into motherboard. Shame as I was enjoying playing a few games and even re did my binds. Oh Well.

Slug went through the mapcycle and found I had made a typo where a map started np_ which should have been mp_ this is likely the culprit.... I think I will redo the mapcycle to include the gold maps but will stick to the format of 1 RMG map and 1 normal map.... I am going to make all score limits 30 instead of 40 on normal maps. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to comment here or send me an e-mail to 50@sofplayers.co.uk. Thanks Slug for your eagle eye LOL.

Think you have a hard time before you 50. It could well be a case of sacking the bots and keeping the new mapcycle or having the bots and going back to the old mapcycle. Bots don't work very well on Gold maps, I experimented with it on Axis when no one was around.

I will change the download page tomorrow. I have had to revert to the old mapcycle as there was some problem with the server filling with bots after some maps..... Will post updates.

Mike. I searched Google for 'Kam 4 SOF2' and SOF Players map download page was top of the list. Can you move the CH Maps download bit to the top of the page and and maybe list the maps it contains. Possibly people will look for somewhere to get the maps so the more easy they are to find the better.

Hopefully everyone will download the maps Mike. Had a run around on Shop 2 last night which is another good map. edit... Again this morning mapcycle working very good. Kam 4 and Pra 2 bots run around well. All very good.

For information I uploaded the new mapcycle to the CH Server earlier this afternoon.... It includes the mp_favela_final map which is the one in the mappack at the download link.... Extract the files to the BASE FOLDER in the SOF2 installation location.

Slug
Would be excellent to have some Gold Maps. So many regular players on the CH Server should not be a problem for them to have maps from here. Played a bit of Favela Rising yesterday afternoon by vote. That's one of the best maps and already on server. The link below contains loads of great maps plus all the Gold Maps. If you play on the CH Server please download and unzip to your SOF2 Base Folder. http://www.sofplayers.co.uk/downloads/ch_maps.zip
