Some time ago when re-installing SoF2 and before adding the gold patch to bring my 3 year old CD up to date, I noticed there were lots of servers still running version 1.00 I decided to do a duplicate SOF2 installation in a second folder on my PC, but running v1.00. I have to say its like another dimension with many hundreds of players never seen on the gold version. You can add v1.00 in about 4 minutes, why not give it a try:) There are more people playing RMG than on gold!!

Some months after SoF2 was launched a number of modifications were made to the original game which included bug fixes, new weapons, Punkbuster anti cheat software and additional maps. This update, called the Gold Patch changed your original game to v1.03. It was intended to replace to 1.00 version but if you make a copy of your original v1.00 files before applying the patch you can still play both versions.

I also went to Santa Monica at the Pacific Coast this pic was taken at the end of the Santa Monica Pier the beach in background was amazing...

                                   USS ALABAMA

This is a short video of some photographs I took on my trip to the USA in August 09.I visited the USS Alabama near Mobile in Alabama. It was a hot day but there was a thunder storm miles away but it made everything dark. I was amazed at how many guns the ship had, I certainly wouldn't have liked to be attacking it LOL.....

It was a very hot, humid and overcast day...

It is a beautiful country but they have very cold winters Brrrrrrr...... :)




Niagara Falls was also very spectacular to see and hear as the water makes a lot of noise... we went on the Maid of the Mist and it was quite wet hehehe.


The CN Tower was spectacular, we had a meal up in the revolving restaurant and the view was terrific... not for the person who has a fear of heights lol

Skiathos1 = DooGie has finally lost his 70s porn star haircut :)

Skiathos2 = One of our favourite tavernas with a brilliant sea view


Skiathos 3 = There was a freshwater pool at the back of our local beach
where the terrapins would eat from your hand.

The SR71 "Blackbird" is at the Space Centre in Huntsville Alabama, it was a worthwhile drive to see all the rockets and there is a space shuttle on display.






We stayed at Heartbreak Hotel in Memphis and went to Graceland.. it was well worth the visit.
